Making a blog.
One day I was watching The Office and I heard about "CreedThoughts" the fake blog that Ryan makes for Creed so that the world doesn't have to read a real version of that blog. This got me thinking "I want a blog! It would be cool to write stuff and other people might read that stuff. I ought to be more like Creed Bratton."
So, that's what I've done, the first step was to decide on a platform: I chose this one because of its focus on content over monetization. I just want a space to write my opinions. I made an account and started looking around the website as a whole. pretty interesting place. the whole editing side of things uses something called "Markdown", so I need to have a cheat sheet to make headers and paragraphs and such. But I think this website is right for me, this blog has the right space to grow and be funny.
What am I going to write about here?
I plan to use this space mostly to blog about anything I think about that's vaguely interesting and funny; I have some ideas, some anecdotes, and a pinch of Sam-Lore.
Mostly, this is just for me to improve my writing skills and because I think it's funny.
Some thoughts about CreedThoughts:
I got curious as to the legitimacy of Creed's blog so I googled it and WOW! The writers of The Office actually made a blog that's all in character from Creed. You can go there yourself at creedthoughtsgov.com. The blog is maintained for 15 months and then goes silent when Creed steals a squirrel from Michael's safe.
